Docker and Kubernetes
(detailed course outline)
Docker is an open‐source cross‐platform tool that makes it easy to create, deploy, and run applications in microservice containers. Kubernetes is an open‐source orchestration system that automates the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. Together, Docker and Kubernetes have become the defacto standard for running distributed applications in the cloud and on local infrastrures.
Docker and Kubernetes is a four‐day course with hands‐on workshops designed for those individuals who wish to learn how to use Docker and Kubernetes. This course combines class lectures using slides and handouts, strengthening the material with hands‐on lab exercises.
